He was assigned in the summer of 2006 by Most Reverend Thomas G. Doran, Bishop of Rockford as Parochial Vicar at St. John Neumann Catholic Church and was tasked to teach theology at St. Edward’s Catholic School.

On March 13, 2009, Bishop Thomas G. Doran appointed Fr. Pajarillo as Parochial Administrator of Saint Rita Catholic Church in Aurora, IL.
