FIL-AM Veneracion Zamora is a member of the San Francisco City Aging and Adult Services Commission.
According to the SF City website, the Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) coordinates services to older adults, adults with disabilities and their families to maximize self-sufficiency, safety, health and independence so that they can remain living in the community for as long as possible and maintain the highest quality of life.
The Aging and Adult Services Commission meets every first Wednesday of the month.
A Certified Home Health Aid and Nursing Assistant specializing in Gerontology, Zamora has spent many years working with the aging community in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
Zamora is very involved in the Filipino-American community. She has served on the Commission on Aging since 1996. n
