HENRY J.C. Aquino is a Democratic member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing the 35th District.
A member of the Hawaii House since 2009, Aquino recently won re-election in the last election, defeating another FilAm vying for his seat Reginald Yago. Aquino captured 80 percent of the votes.
The 35th district is comprised of Pearl City and Waipahu. According to the Hawaii House capitol website, Aquino is a member of finance committee, labor and public employment committee, transportation committee and serves as vice chair of the public safety committee.
Aside from his political life, Aquino is a program coordinator at the Waipahu Community Association. He also teaches religion at Saint Joseph CCD. He is very active in the community, being a member of several organizations including
Leeward Oahu Lions Club, Waipahu Community Coalition, Santanians of Oahu, University of Hawaii - West Oahu, Waipahu Community Association, Democratic Party of Hawaii, and Assistant Director of A.G.A.P.E Ministry of Hawaii-Pacific.
