DEPUTY Sheriff Jurnation Reymundo was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He has been a Deputy Sheriff for the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department since 1998.
“I have worked in the jails, field services, and in the criminal courts. I served as a member of the department’s Emergency Services Unit (ESU) and as a Jail Training Officer (JTO) for 7 years. I was a bicycle patrol officer while assigned to the Field Services and Support Division and am a member of the Sheriff’s Department Peer Support and Critical Incident Response Team,” Reymundo told the Asian Journal.
Reymundo served as a member of the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department Honor & Color Guard Unit. He has traveled across the United States representing his department at various civic functions, ceremonial events, and funeral details.
He has received (2) Outstanding Achievement Awards, 2003 Anti-War Protest Deployment Award and several Captains’ Commendations.
Aside from his law enforcement duties, Reymundo also currently serves as a founding member and Secretary for the Filipino-American Law Enforcement Officers Association (FALEO), a non-profit 501 (c) 3 IRSC fraternal organization. He served for 2 years as an Interim Board Director (2008-2010) and currently is the Chairperson for FALEO’s Marketing / Publication Committee and the coordinator of FALEO’s Honor / Color Guard Team.
