THE U.S. Philippines Business Association (UPBA), with the support of the City of West Covina, is proudly organizing the first-ever Filipino American Frontliners Heroes Day (“Bayani Day”) on Saturday, August 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the West Covina Civic Center.

The event is open to the public, with no admission fee. Surprise gifts also await lucky frontliners in attendance at the event.

The milestone event honors all Filipino American frontliners — such as police, service men and women, doctors, nurses, caregivers, transportation and healthcare workers, grocery and food industry workers — whose sacrifice, courage and selfless dedication throughout the now two-year COVID-19 pandemic has helped save countless lives. Their efforts have enabled the Los Angeles community at large to survive and adapt to the changing demands and conditions of these pandemic times. Performances from local and international artists highlights the event and features fusion of Filipino American food products, services and organizations.
