[COLUMN] A Father’s dying wish is fulfilled this Sunday on Citizen Pinoy

Mother Cece (center) petitioned her son Vince in 2001. Because he was out-of-status, and had no section 245(i), he was not eligible to adjust status (apply for his green card) in the U.S. The family went through several attorneys who applied for political asylum, and later obtained an approved provisional waiver, after the regulations came out in 2016. Vince returned to the Philippines for his interview, but the family was devastated when the Embassy charged Vince with fraud, for having overstayed in the U.S. – the very reason a person pursues a provisional waiver! Desperate to get Vince back to the U.S. to fulfill his father’s dying wish, the family retained Atty. Gurfinkel, who was able to get a fraud waiver approved, enabling Vince to return to the U.S. as a green card holder. Watch this success story on an encore episode of “Citizen Pinoy” this Sunday, November 21 on its new time slot at 6:30 PM PT (9:30 PM ET) through select Cable/Satellite providers, right after TV Patrol Linggo.(Advertising Supplement)

The Law Offices of Michael J. Gurfinkel, Inc. is one of the most respected and successful immigration law firms in America. We take pride that many of our cases are considered “miracle cases” that were “emergency” in nature, or were considered “too difficult” or “impossible” by other attorneys. Through hard work, determination, and years of experience in immigration, litigation, and negotiation, we have been fortunate to help thousands of people solve their immigration problems, be reunited with their families, and be able to live the “American Dream.”
