The Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 will reopen for international flights starting on Wednesday, July 8.
“As global aviation endeavors to return to normalcy, Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) gears up by resuming international flight operations in NAIA Terminal 3,” read the statement posted on Facebook.
It added, “After temporarily closing its doors on March 28 this year, NAIA Terminal 3 will finally open its gates to resume international flight operations beginning 12:01 a.m. of July 8, 2020.”
The MIAA also said that flights of All Nippon Airways, AirAsia Berhad, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines and Turkish Airlines will be returned to Terminal 3 after they were relocated to NAIA Terminal 1.
Meanwhile, Air China, Air Niugini, Asiana Airlines, China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Etihad Airways, Eva Air, Ethiopian Airlines, Gulf Air, Hong Kong Airlines, Japan Airlines, Jeju Air, Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Japan, Korean Airlines, Kuwait Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Royal Brunei Airlines, Saudia Airlines, Scoot, Thai Airways and Xiamen Air will remain in Terminal 1.
Terminal 2 will continue to service international arrival flights for Philippine Airlines but its departures will come from Terminal 1.
“International operations of other airline carriers assigned in Terminal 3 however remain suspended to date. These are Cebu Pacific, Delta Air [Lines], Qantas Airways, and United Airlines,” said MIAA.
Terminal 4 will also remain closed until further notice.
“On current domestic operations, Cebu Pacific (5J), Cebgo (DG), Philippines Air Asia (Z2) and Air Swift flights operate to and from NAIA Terminal 3 while Philippine Airlines (PR) and PAL Express (2P) operate to and from NAIA Terminal 2,” the MIAA said.
“These airlines also operate sweeper flights,” it added.

The country had suspended international travel since March to contain the further spread of the novel coronavirus. Under current regulations, only returning Filipino citizens and their families, Filipino migrant workers, permanent residents, and diplomats are allowed to enter the Philippines.
